What's new at the Statewide Database
~September 17th, 2009 multiple data sets were updated. Specifically, all remaining instances of "ssprec" were changed to "srprec" both in the file names as well as, in the variable names in the geographic files for the 2002 General, 2003 Special, 2004 General, 2005 Special, 2006 Primary, 2006 General, 2008 Special, 2008 Primary and 2008 General Elections. Actual data should be uneffected.
In addition to the changes noted above to the srprec files, some previously unavailable election and geographic data files were in this update. Please see the notes below for additional details.

- 2008 General - updated 9/17/2009 - The Mariposa, Nevada & Siskiyou county map and sr precinct boundary files were added to the data set. The statewide version of the sr precinct file was also updated and now contains precinct records for all of the counties.
- 2008 Primary - updated 10/06/2009 - The Napa County Statement of Vote and Registartion data files have been added to the data set.
- 2008 Special Presidential Primary - updated 9/25/2009 - The Lake, Marin, Merced and Napa county map precinct boundaries, block to map precincts conversion and the map precinct to sr precinct conversions were added to the data set. The Alpine, Calaveras, Colusa, Del Norte, Modoc, Mono, Napa, and Sierra county map precinct to sr precinct conversion files were also added to the data set.
