California's 14-member Citizens Redistricting Commission will hold a public input meeting in Hanford Friday as part of a series of meetings being held throughout the state.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the College of Sequoias Hanford campus at 925 13th Ave.

The commission is taking testimony from residents before drawing its first round of draft maps, which will be released in June. Final district maps must be approved by the commission by Aug. 15.

Comments may be limited to 3-5 minutes depending on the number of people who wish to speak.
