1998 Primary and General Elections Data

From this page you can download Statement of Vote and Statement of Registration data by precinct.

The processing of primary elections began in the 1998 election cycle because the Statewide Database was not required by the legislature to process previous primary elections. Also, only the race results of interest to the legislature were included in these files.

Note 1

On G98 absentee, this dataset allocates absentee voters to census blocks. In the ordinary G98 dataset, for many counties, absentee voters are not assigned to any particular census block. This series provides the appropriate location for voters who registered as absentee.
